COVIMAG is a limited company created in 1994, located in Brive - Sout West of France at the junction of Bordeaux, Toulouse and Clermont Ferrand.

 

We are specialized in the design and manufacturing of electron tubes and magnetrons.

 

Our expertise is based on the acquisition and the merging in Brive of Philips transmitting tube technologies previously located on

3 sites :

- Brive - France

- Hicksville, Amperex - USA

- Heerlen - Netherlands

 

Main applications for our products are Broadcasting, Industrial RF Heating, Microwave Heating and High Voltage Switching.

 

Capitalization is M€ 4.

Turnover in 2007 was 9 M€ including 90 % exportation.

Number of employees is 80 including 15 engineers and technicians.

 

In december 1999, COVIMAG purchased PRANA specialized in manufacturing of high frequency broadband amplifiers.
